So you want to know a bit about me? That’s great!
My name is Emily, I’m 20 years old and I am a born and breed Yorkshire lass (Yorkshire: a scenic and very hilly county in Northern England). I am currently in my second year of studying for a business management degree which as I’m sure you can imagine takes up a lot of my time. But in the free time I can manage to find I love to just find a nice comfy spot and delve into the latest book I’m reading. Of course I also love to catch-up and spend time with my family and friends too. Other hobbies I try to keep up with include:
· Baking (I’m a sucker for a nice slice of cake)
· Dancing (Something I’ve done since I was 7 years old, but had to cut back slightly due to university clashing)
· Pub Quiz Nights (Yes my friend and I are nearly always the youngest in the room by quite a few years, but I am a very competitive person and we don’t let a little thing like age get in our way!)
· Listening to music (I’m a bit of an old school pop kinda girl, I love classic pop songs, etc. Nowadays I love artists such as Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Robyn)
As I’m sure you’ll notice from my reviews on this blog, I mainly read Young Adult novels. I’m not really sure why, but I find they much more exciting than other categories available on the market – maybe it’s just the 12 year old girl in me trying to escape! Don’t get me wrong though, I do also love a few adult books with more serious topics, but I think I will always be more drawn to YA.
